The Role:

  • Provide sales support to policyholders and intermediaries in non-MBS business portfolio
  • Ensure the smooth running of the sales support section
  • Provide staff supervision and close and effective monitoring on job/ tasks assigned
  • Generate renewal terms for all accounts 2 months before policy expiry date
  • Process new business, renewal and movement bills processing
  • Handle clients/ intermediaries enquiries promptly
  • Work closely with Healthcare Services and Claims Departments for claims verification
  • Prepare weekly, monthly and ad hoc reports for Actuarial, Finance and internal reporting
  • Prepare Renewal Persistency Report to Third Party Administration on a monthly basis
  • Enhance Standard Operation Process
  • Inject new ideas in both work processes & marketing for job efficiency and sales target
  • Print outstanding premium statement as and when required
  • Provide good sales support service as part of sales target contribution
  • Perform User Acceptance Testing on new enhanced features and new products
  • Perform ad-hoc functions as and when delegated by the Management

Job Requirements

The Person:

  • Possess tertiary qualification preferably in Business Administration, Insurance, Finance, Economics any related discipline
  • Minimum with Diploma in Insurance or part or all LOMA, ACII, AMII or its equivalent
  • With at least 3 years of working experience in insurance industry
  • Good knowledge of Employees Benefits schemes
  • Sound knowledge of Insurance Act
  • Excellent command of spoken and written in English and Bahasa Malaysia
  • Good analytical and data interpretation skills
  • Good public relations skills
