Job Purpose

Reporting to Lead, Compliance Systems & Quality (Group Compliance & AML/CFT), you will assist in ensuring existing Group Compliance & AML/CFT systems and their related functional processes are working as per expectation. You will also assist in maintaining group wide compliance system configurations, their integration & standardization across all GE entities and also perform analytics for reporting and statistical purpose when necessary apart from assisting in compliance project activities when assigned.


The Job


 Compliance System Functional Management

  • Co-ordinate within Group as well as Local Compliance and AML/CFT teams and also with IT department for compliance system related enhancements & issues. The incumbent shall also track them for implementation on time with high quality;
  • Maintain system parameter changes such as risk score table and flag setup;
  • Perform functional administration role when required;
  • Conduct system related functional trainings for Group users and maintain business related system documentations; and
  • Any other related activities as assigned.

 Compliance System Projects & Quality

  • Participate in new Compliance system projects as well as process improvement and quality assurance related activities as assigned;
  • Monitor system solutions if they are as per Group Compliance & AML/CFT requirements; and
  • Monitor progress and support user acceptance testing when necessary.

 Data Analytics & Reporting Activities

  • Preform analytics of data when required for necessary reporting; and
  • Explore possible utilization of new technology for Compliance, e.g. robotics process automation, artificial intelligence etc to improve effectiveness and efficiency of Compliance processes.


Job Requirements

Our Requirements


  • Tertiary or professional qualification, preferably with certification in the areas of Project Management and Quality Assurance;
  • At least 2 to 3 years working experience in the area of compliance, quality assurance, and/or project management in the financial services industries, preferably from the insurance industry;
  • Team player and able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines;
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills; and
  • Resourceful and information seeker with a concern for order and quality.
