The Role:

You will be responsible to attend to enquiries and complaints from customers and the field force members and follow through for effective resolution.  You have to interpret the needs/ request of the Customers and Field Force members and provide accurate information and explanation about past and current products professionally. You will be responsible to draft and sign all correspondence letters to Customer and Field Force members.

Other areas of responsibilities include:

  • High level data entry in accurate and timely manner
  • Quote policy values and disbursement amount
  • Prepare letter and memo to Head Office
  • Ensure timely despatch of reports and correspondence
  • Conserve policies through client retention efforts
  • Assist and relief Agency Service Section Head whenever the need arises

Job Requirements

The Person:

  • Possess a recognised Degree, preferably in Management, Business Administration, Insurance or other relevant discipline
  • With at least  1-2 years of working experience in Life Insurance company, preferably with Customer Service experience
  • Sound knowledge in Life, General and Takaful insurance products and basic understanding of policy servicing guidelines and procedures
  • Familiar with Life and General Insurance systems such as Life Asia, FPMS, EWMS, MBS400 and any other customer service related applications
  • Good interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • Sound analytical and problem solving skills
  • Possess relevant computer skills
