The Role:

You are responsible for processing all direct credit transactions including handling data entry and ensure that all transactions are completed according to the benchmark set. You are also responsible for providing back-up service to frontline Agent Service Counter.

Apart from the above, you have to attend to correspondence, counter and telephone enquiries from policyholders, branches and agents relating to policy matters in a clear, accurate & timely manner.

Other areas of responsibilities:

  • Compilation of direct credit forms from drop box, Offices Services and other touchpoints
  • Sort and perform preliminary checks for direct credit applications
  • Ensure direct credit form to Records Management for scanning as per stipulated turnaround time
  • Assist Assistant Manager to prepare team performance/ turnaround time report on daily basis
  • Verify and register reject cases for Direct Credit
  • Prepare correspondence letters for rejected direct credit applications
  • Assist in supervising and training of staff
  • Involve in any projects/initiatives as and when given by the management

Job Requirements

The Person:

  • Possess a recognised Degree in Communication, Management, Business Administration, Insurance or other relevant degree
  • With at least 1-2 years of working experience in Life Insurance Company. Preferably with Customer Service experience
  • Ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written format both in English and Bahasa Malaysia
  • Sound insurance product knowledge
  • Basic knowledge in policy servicing guidelines & procedures
  • General Life Underwriting and Insurance Act knowledge
  • Possess relevant computer skills
  • Sound analytical and problem solving skills
