Job Purpose

 

You will oversee the social media performance and community management & support the digital direct channels to cultivate brand affinity, engagement, reach and loyalty for customers. The role will require a strong collaboration with other business units to execute and ensure that social and digital content tells a unified brand story and bring to life what truly differentiates Great Eastern against competitors.

 

The Job

Planning & Strategy

 

  • Ensure the voice always remains true across social media touch points;
  • Drive customer acquisition and retention through social media and direct marketing;
  • Digital campaign management including tactical plans and evaluation;
  • Stay up to date with current popular culture and trends to inform conversation strategy;
  • Work closely with agency and PR team to develop a robust crisis management plan; and
  • Ensure content/customer communication is relevant across a variety of channels including EDM and social.

 

Reporting

 

  • Track and report social engagement, community growth and social/referral traffic;
  • Anlayse social data to uncover insights, then adjust strategies and tactic to achieve optimal performance;
  • Work with business units to provide analytical insights to enable decisions that support customer experience, problem resolution and best practice; and
  • Analyse and communicate campaign results and future optimisations, including implementation of studies and performance report, in collaboration with the agencies involved.

  

Implementation

 

  • EDM execution, uploading of content and working with BU to deliver the correct audience segmentation;
  • Work hands on with our current social media channels and develop a positive presence online;
  • Responsible to community manage and respond to incoming messages; and
  • Responsible to monitor conversation online and respond as required to drive high customer satisfaction.

 

Monitoring

 

  • Closely follow changes to social media platform rules and algorithm;
  • Work with agency to actively participate in industry discussions and relevant online communities where our target audiences are engaged;
  • Manage relationship with digital agencies; and
  • Ensure sharing of best practices and team education in the face of digital breakthroughs and new trends in the field.

Job Requirements

Our Requirements

 

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in digital marketing, primarily in social media. Experience in CRM platform management is preferred;
  • Degree in marketing, media, communications or similar;
  • Ideally experienced in both B2B and B2C;
  • Must have strong background in communications and content management;
  • Experience with planning and executing AB testing solutions;
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects, aligning teams to project timelines and ensuring quality of deliverables;
  • Strong project management skill and time management skill;
  • Strong analytical and storytelling skills, excellent communications skills, both written and spoken; ability to explain complex technical concepts in plain English;
  • Strong interest in data, including good knowledge of analytics, tag manager and experience with tracking code and reporting;
  • Team player with excellent relationship building;
  • Proven track record of significantly growing online audience and engagement tactics;
  • Strong portfolio of work that showcases your ability to craft content across a variety of mediums and channels; and
  • Deep understanding of content distribution, community development and social media marketing.
