The Role:

You are the key account manager for agents and direct clients on Group Employee Benefits. You are responsible for providing servicing to new and existing agents/clients and to source for new agents/clients.

Other areas of responsibilities include:

  • Secure new Employee Benefits business via agents
  • Build up prospect database
  • Visit selected top agents weekly
  • Prepare reports for management
  • Assist in day to day admin for existing Employee Benefits clients and agents
  • Raise renewal instructions within the timeline
  • Follow up on outstanding premiums and claims excesses
  • Conduct presentations to prospects and agents
  • Issue quotations to agents
  • Prepare scheme profiling
  • Carry out ad-hoc duties assigned by management
  • Prepare reports for management

Job Requirements

The Person:

  • Possess tertiary qualification preferably in Marketing, Business Administration, Insurance or any related disciplines
  • Minimum qualification in Diploma in Insurance or part or all LOMA, ACII, AMII or its equivalent
  • With at least 6-7 years of working experience in Life Insurance industry especially in Group Insurance
  • Good product knowledge in Employees Benefits
  • Understand the relevant operation/ administration issues
  • Excellent command of spoken and written in English and Bahasa Malaysia
  • Good negotiation and public relations skills
  • Good marketing and presentation skills
