The Role:

You understand the importance of payroll and enjoy working as part of a Human Capital team. You also regard Human Resource as a longer-term career goal and at the same time appreciate the overall HR challenges.

You will be responsible for the full cycle staff payroll processing such as undertaking payroll calculation and reconciliation, preparing payroll accounting, general ledger and reports within the stipulated deadlines and guidelines. Also, you are required to provide support in exit analysis and report compilation. This role required you to work closely with Payroll Supervisor to support the payroll administration; at the same time, you must be able to work independently, on a confidential basis.

On top of that, you will be assisting the team in planning and implementing all Compensation & Benefits related programs. 

Job Requirements

The Person:

  • A basic degree from a recognised university specialising in Human Resource Management, Statistics, Economics, Accounting and Business Administration
  • One to two years’ experience within a similar role would put you in good stead
  • Ability to communicate clearly - both verbally and in writing with employees of all levels within the organisation
  • Possess a high degree of integrity and professionalism in handling confidential information
  • Proven ability to work independently as well as a team member
  • Good numerical and analytical skill, with strong multi-tasking ability
  • Well versed in Employment Act and other significant labour legislations and practices
  • IT-literate; competent in the use of MS Office, i.e. MS Excel and is able to perform data mining activities
  • Experience in HRIS will be an added advantage
