Job Purpose


You will report to the Head of Group Loyalty and Segment Marketing. You will lead and manage the Segments Marketing and Sponsorship team. Working with the Segments Marketing team to identify customer segment needs and solutions, develop and drive marketing strategies to support sales objectives against key customer segments. You will also lead the active management and activation of corporate sponsorships to achieve brand and customer objectives.

The Job


  • The role requires the candidate to provide thought leadership, work with and drive the:
    • segments team on their formulation of customer segmentation approach, framework and execution strategy driven by fact-based consumer research and insights for particular segment/s within the organisation
    • sponsorship team to identify sponsorship opportunities and maximise the sponsorship asset to drive brand preference, customer loyalty and leads generation and sales opportunities
  • Collaborate with Business units such as Customer Analytics, Experience and Insights teams to gain deep understanding of customer needs and behaviors to refine customer segmentation, guide innovation in developing product solutions/ bundles communication strategies and propositions tailored for each key segment;
  • Establish channels mix and distribution model considering customer segment needs and customer journey;
  • Drive and increase customer brand engagement, portfolio growth and retention through customer centric activities, marketing programmes and sponsorships;
  • Develop portfolio activities and marketing campaigns including cross sell initiatives to increase leads generation and deepen customer insurance share across all business lines;
  • Collaborate with the various Business units to appropriately incorporate the firm’s initiatives to maximise the marketing engagement with clients (existing and prospects) while adhering to brand guidelines and client engagement rules;
  • Manage the annual customer marketing plan and budgeting.  Track, analyze and report campaign performance and demonstrate marketing efficiencies and improved ROI leveraging on past campaign learnings and results; and
  • Manage the portfolio of sponsorship assets from curation through to execution and delivery of sponsorship activation campaigns to maximize brand and commercial outcomes for the organization.

Job Requirements

Our Requirements

  • Degree holder and have at least 8 years of relevant experience in marketing, portfolio management, customer segmentation and sponsorships/events management. Experience in the Insurance industry or other financial institutions is an added advantage;
  • Possess sharp business acumen, strong analytical skills, good decision making and problem solving skills;
  • Results oriented and has a high energy level, driven, takes initiative and a strong ability to multi-task;
  • Good communications (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills;
  • Demonstrate good understanding of insurance products, customer research methodologies and commercialization of corporate sponsorship assets;
  • Leadership, supervisory and mentoring skills are a requirement for this role;
  • Able to manage a team and work closely with them to plan, organise, execute campaigns meticulously and measure performance;
  • Comfortable with numbers and analysing large amounts of data/information;
  • Able to think and work independently under a stressful environment; and
  • Able to work with people across all levels including senior stakeholders.
