Job Purpose


As a User Experience Manager on the UX Architecture team, you will work in a small team envisioning the future of insurance and designing solutions for a wide range of customers. You will primarily be responsible for conducting, analysing, and documenting design research across the entire organisation, and will also be involved in UX design projects if applicable. You will be able to see the impact of your work in action and how your efforts impact our customers across Asia. You must be able to work independently, and on multiple concurrent projects.

The Job


  • Collaborate with business and innovation teams to define and re-imagine customer journeys through building end-to-end journey maps, personas, use cases, user stories, work flow design, or other artefacts that successfully communicate ideas across the organization;
  • Facilitate the team’s and business stakeholders’ visions by researching, conceiving, wireframing, sketching, prototyping, and mocking up user experiences for digital solutions;
  • Coordinate and conduct workshops with internal and external stakeholders across each phase of the Design Thinking framework, including Design Sprint, Ideation, Empathy, Design Critique workshops;
  • Define and deploy analytics; and
  • Define, deploy, and refine each project’s experience through user tracking and experiments (e.g. A/B testing), lab studies, field visits, ethnography, surveys, benchmark studies.







Job Requirements

Our Requirements

  • Degree in Human Factors, Psychology, HCI/Computer Science or other related fields or equivalent practical experience;
  • At least 5 years of experience in User Experience Design, preference for candidates with experience in web and mobile interfaces, and/or have worked in the insurance industry;
  • Experience in designing solutions efficiently and intelligently using Design Thinking and Lean UX principles;
  • Ability to clearly and effectively communicate design processes, ideas, and solutions to stakeholders of every level;
  • Strong communicator and facilitator to conduct workshops, focus groups, and usability studies, as well as facilitate and present findings to stakeholders across all level;
  • Familiar with tools such as customer journey mapping, ethnographic observations/interviews, usability studies, cognitive task analysis;
  • Experience integrating user research into product designs and design practices;
  • Skilled with UX software such as Sketch, InVision, various Adobe tools, Flinto. Basic HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript skills are a plus; and
  • Innovative, ‘outside of the box’ thinker with focus on solving end-to-end customer experiences.
