Job Purpose

At a regional level assist in the strategic planning and implementation of strategic product propositions to support predetermined sales performance and business objectives of each country with a work plan through a right product-mix, portfolio-mix besides the targets.

The Job

  • Be a key liaison for products, and accountable for the development, delivery and driving of product sales growth strategies while meeting needs of customers.
  • Driving and developing the regions customer insights that can be used to make good decisions.
  • Build relationships and work very closely with stakeholders at country level (sales, pricing, legal, underwriting, compliance) in developing market leading product propositions and solutions.
  • Working closely with regional and local teams to implement customer segment specific marketing propositions to address customer needs in retirement planning, wealth accumulation, health and well-being and legacy planning.
  • To collaborate with the regional team for the rollout of special projects in a systematic and organized way, and align the best practices across the region.
  • Represent regional Bancassurance’s interest as a co-partner on technology and digital delivery efforts.
  • Conceptualise and launch of products regionally.
  • Increasing productivity through product propositions
  • Spearheading applicable training programs at country level
  • Achievement of product sales targets (aggregate / strategic / tactical)

Job Requirements

Our Requirements

  • Tertiary Education
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in Life Insurance Products / Wealth Management
  • Ability to think commercially, and who have the confidence to make decisions and enjoys working with a variety of different people
  • Ability to structure, position, package Bancanssurance solutions, meeting customers’ needs and generating benefits to business
  • Well versed in Distribution Management, Regulations on Bancassurance
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good strategic planning and analytical skills (Products & Propositions)
  • Subject Matter Expert on Products
  • Result Orientation
  • Energy, drive and initiative
  • Experience in sales and Distribution in a Bank and /or other financial services organisation.
